Useful Arabic words and more

If you are willing to start learning Arabic I would of course recommend finding a good course that offers also conversation groups in addition to the normal basic lessons. You can start teaching yourself the most basic things (alphabetic, etc) online and find the most common words, greetings, how to say hello in Arabic, etc.

This will make you more familiar with the language and listening to native speakers, watching videos on youtube will help you decrease the anxiety when your ears hear Arabic for the first time. Songs are a nice option too.

Find a native speaker online and ask him about the important survival phrases that a traveler would need to know in an Arab country. This way, you can improve your Arabic and make a new friend! Find forums or onine communities that connect native speakers together.

Enjoy :).

How to choose an engagement ring

Choosing a fantastic wedding or engagement ring is like a holy task for many. You need to take into account many factors and should depend on your instincts for a big part. There are diamond rings, different cuts, gold, white gold and other colored types of rings. Black diamonds are also a big thing for some girls while others prefer other diamonds.

One piece of advice is to take a second opinion of a female with you; your mom, sister, any female relative would suffice. Don't rush into the first few shops or rings and just choose one you like, look further and compare what you have seen. Also, you can always buy an engagement ring online, you will find amazing, new and various collections of different types of rings.

2011, would you please come to an end?

It has been a long year, no it is actually still going on! It has been a year full of many scientific, political, economic and natural events. Try and make a list of the important and significant news you have heard during this year and you will be astonished by the number of big things that happened.

When you try to write a list about the top events in 2011, you will be confused and won't know if you should discuss the ongoing global economic recession and unemployment, the rapid climate change, hurricanes and earthquakes or the many revolutions that all started in this year. Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya and of course, the one that inspired them all: Tunisia.

There will be many unforgotten names that we will remember from this year: Julian Asange, Bin Laden, Steve Jobs..And many others. Students studying history will have to memorize a lot of stuff and dates about this year but the good news is that they will find everything, everything documented in video and archived online so when British students study the history of the royal family after tens of years, they will be able to watch "the kiss" on whatever that would be invented instead of a computer.
